(AmericanProsperity.com) – School spirit can cause students to do some crazy things. Members of the school’s staff are meant to keep kids from getting too crazy. In the case of one Kentucky high school, even teachers and the principal may have gotten out of control.
Hazard High School recently held homecoming activities which included a “man pageant” and “costume day.” While those choices may not seem too inappropriate, what comes next is disturbing.

During the “man pageant,” male students dressed as women, which in itself isn’t newsworthy. But these same male students stripped and gave lap dances to staff members, including Principal Donald Mobelini, who also serves as Hazard’s mayor. Teenage girls also entered the gymnasium in Hooters uniforms.
If that’s not bad enough, the school proceeded to take several photos of the event and post them on its Facebook page. The images have since been removed, but not before parents and homeschool advocates had taken notice. The Independent Superintendent of Hazard County Schools, Sandra Combs, said that while the school encourages its kids to be creative, things went too far.
Combs noted that the event was under investigation, and the school district was pursuing disciplinary action. She couldn’t release any further details. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear (D) said officials should release any information because the incident is so public.
