ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers made arrests in Boston, Denver, Houston, Newark, New York City, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco, removing individuals with serious criminal backgrounds.

Among those arrested was Kevin Estuarde Hernandez, an 18-year-old Guatemalan national taken into custody in Boston.
Authorities identified Hernandez as a suspected member of the notorious 18th Street gang and linked him to a gang-related shooting.
In Denver, agents apprehended Jose Antonio Deras, a 45-year-old El Salvadoran with multiple traffic violations who was also facing pending felony sexual assault charges.
The Houston operation resulted in the arrest of Misael Delgado-Carlos, a 35-year-old Mexican national previously deported from the United States.
Delgado-Carlos had illegally re-entered the country after being convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Perhaps most disturbing were the arrests of several illegals with records of sexual crimes against children.
Eduardo Sanchez-Hernandez, a 32-year-old Mexican national arrested in Newark, was facing charges for sexual assault of a minor.
In New York City, agents apprehended Litzy Janel Saavedra, a 26-year-old Mexican national convicted of third-degree felony rape in 2022.
The self-declared sanctuary city of San Francisco had been harboring Carlos Torres Valdovinos, a 46-year-old Mexican national with a felony conviction for oral copulation of a child.
Unlike the other detainees who remain in custody pending removal proceedings, Torres Valdovinos was immediately deported to Mexico following his arrest.
Salt Lake City’s operation netted Jose Barrios-Bello, a 35-year-old Mexican national previously removed from the United States who had illegally re-entered and was convicted of methamphetamine distribution.
This pattern of deportation and illegal re-entry highlights the crisis created by Democrats under Joe Biden.
As Americans applaud the current stronger border security and immigration enforcement, operations like this demonstrate the critical role that ICE plays in removing criminal threats from neighborhoods.
