At a time when Joe Biden is dealing with a massive fallout stemming from his health issues, Jill Biden has been accused of being part of a deceptive plot.
Specifically, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has demanded that Jill testify before Congress about her role in covering up Biden’s declining health during his administration.
Leavitt minced no words when stating that Jill was “certainly complicit” in hiding her husband’s deteriorating cognitive condition from the American public and should be held accountable.
During a press briefing, Leavitt called for Jill to come clean about what she knew regarding Biden’s health issues.
“Frankly, the former first lady should certainly speak up about what she saw in regards to her husband and when she saw it, and what she knew,” Leavitt told reporters.
The press secretary also suggested that Jill should cooperate with House Republican investigators probing the matter.
The accusations come as House Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer has requested interviews with four Biden aides and former White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor.
Comer is investigating allegations that Biden’s team concealed information about his fitness for office and controlled his “autopen” for signing documents.
The chairman has threatened to issue subpoenas if the requested interviews are not granted, potentially setting up a legal showdown.
Leavitt did not hold back in her assessment of Jill’s role, presenting what she described as clear evidence of deception.
“I think anybody looking again at the videos and photo evidence of Joe Biden with your own eyes and a little bit of common sense can see this was a clear cover up,” she said.
“Jill Biden was certainly complicit in that cover-up. There are documentation, video evidence of her clearly shielding her husband away from the camera,” Leavitt continued.
She added that Biden’s condition should have been obvious to anyone watching him.
“She still thinks the American public are so stupid they are going to believe her lies and, frankly, it is insulting and she needs to answer for it,” Leavitt continued.
The investigation has gained momentum following the revelation that Biden is battling an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
This disclosure has raised serious questions about when the administration knew of his health problems and whether information was deliberately withheld from voters before Biden withdrew from the presidential race.
A senior Department of Justice official has even suggested that Jill could face “criminal charges” for “elder abuse” by not disclosing her husband’s health condition.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. has questioned how Jill could have missed “stage five metastatic cancer,” implying a deliberate cover-up rather than mere oversight.
Jill has publicly denied these accusations, claiming, “The people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us. And they didn’t see how hard Joe worked every single day.”
However, her denials have not stemmed the tide of scrutiny, especially with the recent publication of “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” some describe as a scandal bigger than Watergate.
President Donald Trump initially expressed sadness over Biden’s diagnosis but later suggested misinformation was involved, stating that “somebody is not telling the facts.”
The investigation continues as Americans demand answers about who knew what and when about the health of the man who previously held the White House.
