Musk’s SHOCKING Opinion – Trump’s Tax Bill!

Man in black suit thinking with hands clasped.

Putting a final end to the strong alliance he once had with President Donald Trump, Elon Musk has lashed out against the president’s proposed tax-and-spending bill.

Going from being one of President Trump’s biggest financial backers to vocal critic, Musk has slammed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act as nothing but “DEBT SLAVERY.”

The tech mogul went one step further in his attacks by threatening to create a rival political party and primary any Republican who supports the legislation.

After contributing $290 million to the president’s campaign, the billionaire has turned against what he calls a “pork-filled disgusting abomination” that would increase the nation’s debt ceiling by a staggering $5 trillion.

The dramatic fallout between the two powerful figures erupted when Musk took to his social media platform X to blast the tax-and-spending bill currently moving through Congress.

His criticism began during his tenure as head of Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where he was tasked with finding ways to cut government waste.

Musk did not mince words when attacking the bill and its supporters, particularly targeting members of the House Freedom Caucus who backed the legislation.

“How can you call yourself the Freedom Caucus if you vote for a DEBT SLAVERY bill with the biggest debt ceiling increase in history?” Musk wrote.

The tech billionaire’s fury extended to specific Republican lawmakers. He called out House Republicans Andy Harris and Chip Roy for not opposing the bill and threatened political consequences.

Musk said, “And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth.”

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the Senate’s version of the bill is projected to increase the deficit by $3.3 trillion between 2025 and 2034.

The legislation also includes provisions that would benefit coal production while repealing subsidies for wind and solar projects after 2027.

“It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country — the PORKY PIG PARTY!!” Musk wrote on social platform X.

“Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people,” he continued.

President Trump has responded to the criticism with relative restraint, describing Musk as “a wonderful guy” but noting that some of his former ally’s behavior wasn’t appropriate.

“I think he’s a wonderful guy. I haven’t spoken to him much, but I think Elon is a wonderful guy, and I know he’s going to do well always,” the president stated.

“He’s a smart guy. And he actually went and campaigned with me and this and that. But he got a little bit upset, and that wasn’t appropriate,” President Trump remarked.

The president also acknowledged potential business reasons for Musk’s opposition, saying, “Look, the electric vehicle mandate, the EV mandate, is a tough thing for him.”

Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought have pushed back against Musk’s claims.

Both lawmakers have argued that the bill does not affect the discretionary spending targeted by DOGE.

However, this explanation has not satisfied the world’s richest man, who continues to threaten political consequences for those supporting the legislation.

“Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame!” Musk expressed.

The growing rift between President Trump and Musk highlights divisions within the MAGA movement about how to handle America’s mounting national debt.
