Dropping a bombshell announcement that patriots cheered, President Trump’s administration is taking bold action to clean up the immigration mess left by Biden, pushing for ICE to arrest 3,000 illegal aliens daily.
Read the tweet below.
This aggressive enforcement strategy aims to address the estimated 8 million people who crossed the southern border illegally during Biden’s tenure.
Americans frustrated by years of open borders will soon see the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.
The Trump administration has wasted no time addressing the immigration crisis, with 139,000 people already deported in the first three months since taking office.
Previously, ICE had a quota of 1,800 arrests per day, but Senior Advisor Stephen Miller is now pushing to dramatically increase that number, targeting over 1 million arrests annually.
If the new target is met, an additional 650,000 illegals could be arrested by the end of this year alone.
The administration is prioritizing illegal aliens with criminal records or outstanding deportation orders.
Still, the scope has widened to include broader mass deportations to address the massive backlog created during the previous administration.
Meanwhile, border crossings have already decreased dramatically since Trump ended Biden’s catch-and-release policy and modified the CBP One app to encourage self-deportation.
The administration has also offered vouchers and plane tickets to illegal aliens willing to leave the country voluntarily, providing a carrot alongside the stick of increased enforcement.
“Keeping President Trump’s promise to deport illegal aliens is something the administration takes seriously,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said.
She added:
“We are committed to aggressively and efficiently removing illegal aliens from the United States, and ensuring our law enforcement officers have the resources necessary to do so. The safety of the American people depends upon it.”
The results are already becoming apparent. In April alone, 17,000 people were deported, marking a 29% increase from April 2024.
This upward trend is expected to continue as ICE ramps up operations. The administration’s focus on enforcement represents a complete reversal from the Biden years, when deportations plummeted and millions entered the country illegally.
While Miller has been forceful in advocating for increased arrest targets, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has suggested a more measured approach.
During a recent meeting at ICE headquarters, Noem sought input from ICE leadership while still supporting the overall goal of increased arrests and deportations.
Moreover, the administration’s proposed “Big Beautiful Bill” could allocate $147 billion for border enforcement, potentially increasing arrests nationwide.
Currently, high arrest and deportation rates have been noted in Texas and New Mexico, but with additional funding, these operations could expand across the country.
For patriotic Americans who have watched in horror as millions of illegal aliens poured across the borders during the Biden years, the Trump administration’s decisive action provides long-awaited relief.
By prioritizing the safety and security of American citizens over the interests of those who have broken immigration laws, President Trump is fulfilling one of his core campaign promises to put America first.
The daily standard of 1,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests during the early days of the Trump administration is falling short of an administration goal which is reportedly targeting 3,000 per day. https://t.co/LwgbcPhjOl
