Air Force Employee Shares Sensitive Info on Dating App?!

(AmericanProsperity.com) – An Air Force employee was just charged for sharing classified information on a foreign dating website.

The Air Force employee, David Franklin Slater, is a 63-year-old man who was charged with sharing classified information with someone claiming to be a Ukrainian woman. Slater is a former Army Lieutenant Colonel who held a Top Secret Security Clearance and attended classified meetings on the war in Ukraine from February through April 2022.

Both Slater and the supposed Ukrainian woman communicated through email and the online messaging platform, which is where Slater shared classified information.

He was arrested on Saturday and was not appointed an attorney immediately. According to documents the woman referred to Slater as “Sweet Dave” and “my secret agent.” Prosecutors say that Slater received a message from the woman in March saying “Dear, what is shown on the screens in the special room?? It is very interesting.”

Not long after this, they said that the woman sent him a message saying “You are my secret informant love! How were your meetings? Successfully?” They sent messages back and forth for months where the woman was probing Slater for more classified information.

“You have a job in the Operations Center today, I remember, I’m sure there is a lot of interesting news there?” the woman said.

Prosecutors said that Slater did share classified information regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, including military operations and targets.

Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen said he “knowingly transmitted classified national defense information to another person in blatant disregard for the security of his country and his oath to safeguard its secrets.”
