Hillary Clinton Slams Conservatives For ‘Hard-Right Agenda’

(AmericanProsperity.com) – Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blasted Republicans on June 30 as she accused them of having a “hard-right agenda” to place conservative justices on the Supreme Court. She pointed out this is counterproductive for all Americans as she claimed that a conservative-majority tribunal will roll back many “constitutional decisions.”

The former presidential candidate and Secretary of State made these comments less than 24 hours after the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action. The court’s decision has been criticized by Democrats, with some proposing radical measures such as imposing term limits for justices or expanding the court. Even US President Joe Biden expressed his disagreement with this step, as he claimed this would be a “mistake” that could do more harm than good.

On Twitter, Clinton wrote that the Supreme Court’s ruling was predictable for anyone who “understands” conservatives’ radical agenda. She explained all they want is to revoke freedoms to prevent the United States from becoming a “more perfect union.” Clinton added that Democrats need to “vote out” Republicans in every election and follow the “subversive money” that finances their “quest” to reverse progress.

Clinton, who was the Democratic nominee for the 2016 presidential election and lost to Republican Donald Trump, also shared a screenshot of a January 2016 tweet. She said in that tweet that a GOP president would “stack” the tribunal with justices that will “rip away” the “progress we’ve made.”

During his administration, Trump nominated three of the nine Supreme Court justices that are currently serving. These were Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett. While the three of them are known for their moderation, many liberal outlets and Democratic leaders -including Hillary Clinton- have labeled them as radicals.

Some Republicans have also criticized these three justices as they have claimed they aren’t like justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas. One of these was Florida Governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, who promised to nominate “better justices” than Trump if he becomes president.
