House Investigators Allege Biden Abused System as VP

(AmericanProsperity.com) – The House committee that is investigating the alleged influence-peddling by the Biden family revealed on August 30 that it will look for records on flights on Air Force Two that then-Vice President Joe Biden took with Hunter Biden. In a letter, House Oversight and Accountability member Byron Donalds and Chairman James Comer told the head of the US National Archives they were looking for this information. They noted they are specifically seeking “unrestricted special” access through the Presidential Records Act to details about the Biden family’s travel on aircraft designated for the US vice president.

Donalds and Comer also wrote to the US Archivist Colleen Shogan that Hunter Biden’s business partner Devon Archer recently claimed it was “false” that the then-vice president “played no role” in his son’s business dealings overseas. The lawmakers added that the pieces of evidence that confirm that role were the numerous flights that the Biden family took on Air Force Two to close some business deals around the world.

Additionally, Donalds and Comer told Shogan that then-Vice President Biden wasted American taxpayer money and even abused his offices of public trust. They claimed that the Democratic leader did this because of his misuse of the Marine Two and Air Force Two to benefit his “family enterprise.” The lawmakers described it as “nothing more” than full access to “Joe Biden himself.”

According to a Fox News report, Hunter Biden traveled to 15 nations around the world with his father while he was in the vice-presidential role during the Barack administration. The network revealed that, in at least one of those trips, the elder Biden met with one of his son’s business partners in China’s capital Beijing.

The request from the two GOP lawmakers came as House Speaker and California Republican Kevin McCarthy is currently considering an impeachment process into President Biden’s actions during that period. However, many political experts believe this probably won’t succeed.
