US Airman Sets Himself On Fire Outside Israeli Embassy?!

(AmericanProsperity.com) – A United States airman, later named Aaron Bushnell, set himself on fire outside of the Israeli Embassy in Washington.

Aaron Bushnell was 25 years old and was from San Antonio, Texas. Officials said that the US Secret Service extinguished the man and took him to the hospital on Sunday. It’s said that before setting himself on fire he said he would “no longer be complicit in genocide.”

Aaron filmed himself live on a streaming site, Twitch, while sharing that he was a member of the Air Force and that he would be participating in an “extreme act of protest.” He proceeded to set himself on fire and yell “Free Palestine” as he was on fire.

Law enforcement said it wasn’t confirming the authenticity of the video and they also stated that no Embassy members were harmed. A bomb disposal unit was sent to the area due to a possible suspicious vehicle, but this was later confirmed to be safe and there were no hazards.

The DC police officers say that they are working with the US Secret Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives in order to investigate the incident at hand. Mr. Brushness was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Israel-Gaza war has brought on many concerns and many people have found themselves with tension or hard feelings to process due to the war. The war broke out after an attack on October 7 that killed 1,200 people. This caused Israel to respond with a military war that has killed over 29,000 people since October 7.

As of January, there have been more than 1.9 million civilians from Gaza that have been displaced, which is about 85% of its population. With the tensions of the war, this isn’t the first time that someone has performed an extreme act of protest and it’s also not the first time someone has set themselves on fire due to them protesting Israel’s actions.
