(AmericanProsperity.com) – The Israel-Gaza war has now been going on for 100 days, and it’s been a conflict that we’ve seen intensify, especially over the last month.

The Israel-Gaza war was initiated by Israel after the Hamas terrorist group invaded homes and killed civilians on October 7, 2023. In the attack, Hamas killed over 1,200 people and took 250 people hostage. As of now, there have been 24,000 Palestinians killed during the war, and Israel is now facing a World Court hearing over allegations of genocide due to the numbers killed and the tactics used by the IDF.

The White House recently told Israel to tone down its military operations as it hit the 100th day of the war. The U.S. officials stated that “it’s the right time for Israel to transition to low-intensity operations.” John Kirby, the White House National Security spokesperson, confirmed during a public interview that the United States has been speaking to Israel about a lower-scale operation.

He said that Israel has been taking small steps toward easing its offensive, but that “there is more to be done”. He continued, “We’re not saying let your foot up off the gas completely and don’t keep going after Hamas. It’s just that we believe the time is coming here very, very soon for a transition to this lower intensity phase.”

However, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in response said, “It’s been 100 days, yet we will not stop until we win.”

Throughout the war, we have seen many protests being held in Europe and the Middle East. People have been seen standing with signs that are calling for a ceasefire in Gaza while others are calling for the hostages to be released. This war has raised tensions in the Middle East, resulting in attacks from the Houthis on the Red Sea and bringing the UK and U.S. deeper into the conflict. With the 100-day mark passing, many countries, including the U.S., are looking for this war to cool down in the hopes that tensions will subside in the region.
